IRM Founder Mourns the Passing of Usman Sallau

 The Founder of the IRM Foundation and Honorary Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Ibrahim Rilwan, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of his close associate, Usman Sallau, whose death has left many in grief across Kaduna and beyond.

Usman Sallau, widely known by his nickname “Shaga,” reportedly passed away late on Monday, March 29, after a brief illness. His death has been described as a painful and unexpected loss, particularly to those who knew him personally and worked closely with him. Family members, friends, and associates have continued to pour in tributes, remembering him as a humble, loyal, and committed individual who contributed positively to his community.

According to family sources, the late Sallau is survived by two wives, children, and several siblings. His passing has created a significant void within his immediate family and among his wider circle of associates. Many who spoke about him highlighted his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those around him.

In an official condolence message, Malam Ibrahim Rilwan expressed profound sadness over the loss, describing Sallau as not just an associate but a trusted ally and dependable companion. He noted that Sallau’s death is a great loss not only to him personally but also to the community that benefited from his good character and contributions.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of my brother and associate, Usman Sallau (Shaga). His death is a painful loss that words alone cannot fully describe,” Malam Ibrahim stated. He further prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus (the highest level of Paradise). He also asked Allah to provide comfort and strength to the bereaved family during this difficult time.

As part of efforts to show solidarity and support, Malam Ibrahim Rilwan led a delegation of associates and well-wishers to visit the deceased’s family and relatives within the Kaduna metropolis. During the visit, he personally conveyed his condolences and offered prayers for the departed soul. The delegation also used the opportunity to encourage the family to remain steadfast and trust in Allah during this period of grief.

Community members who witnessed the visit described it as a moment of unity and compassion, as leaders and associates came together to stand with the grieving family. The atmosphere was filled with prayers and reflections on the life and legacy of the late Sallau.

The passing of Usman Sallau has once again reminded many of the fragile nature of life and the importance of maintaining strong relationships and supporting one another in times of need.
